Job Description
We are looking to recruit experienced Fabricator Welders, ideally with prior experience of Structural Steel.
Your normal working days will be Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). 07.15am to 04.00pm Monday to Thursday and 07.45am to 2.00pm on a Friday.
The standard basic rate of pay is £16.04 per hour but becomes a blended enhanced rate of £18.04 when working 45 hours or more per week. Any overtime worked is paid at time and half or double time on a Sunday.
You will be expected to respond to reasonable requests to work weekday and weekend overtime in accordance with the operational and production requirements of the company; this is an essential requirement of your employment with the company.
Skills and Knowledge
- Ideally be fully qualified in Fabrication and Welding, ideally with a Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
- Experienced with working with large structural steel beams, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a competent ability to both fabricate and weld steel components to a high standard. Please note a weld test may be part of the interview process.
- Must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings and fabricate steelwork with minimal supervision.
