7 & 8 Wellington Place are two conjoined eight-storey structures that will offer more than 35,000m² of Grade A office space. The buildings also aim to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. This is part of the commercial development, that already includes the completion of buildings 10, 5 and 6 Wellington Place and the current construction of 3 Wellington Place.
The buildings’ ideal position on Whitehall Road will provide a prime city-centre location, with easy access to the Leeds’ retail quarter and convenient transport links across the country via road and rail.
Due for completion in 2020, Wellington Place will eventually boast a total of 140,000m² of commercial, retail, leisure and residential space. This will be one of the biggest and most prestigious new city centre business quarters in Europe.
Billington Structures have worked on three other commercial blocks on the site known as 3, 5 and 6 Wellington Place.
