Kevin is a highly motivated individual with an established record of strong management and continuous improvement in the structural steelwork industry through the development of people, management systems/procedures, health and safety as well as the expansion of plant facilities and capacities. His experience working in India gave him the opportunity to demonstrate his ability to skilfully manage improvement, change at all levels through effective leadership, communication and motivation.

With decades of experience within the structural steel industry, Martin has built up extensive knowledge. He has worked within our Commercial team for over 30 years and has occupied the Commercial Director role since 1999. During his time, he has worked on a large number of complex design and construction projects which have been constructed throughout the UK. Martin ensures projects progress through the commercial arena with accurate estimates and efficiency.
MoreBrian Turton - Director Operations
With over 30 years of structural steel experience, Brian has a long history within the construction industry. He joined Billington Structures in 1987 and has been a director with the company since 2011. He is responsible for the overall management of the projects team. This means being involved in all stages of a project, from planning and contracts, right through to completion. He is also in charge of on-site health and safety, as well placement and control of all sub-contractors.

Simon has over 25 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within multi-disciplinary design practices. He has been involved in a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects, as well as inspection and assessment work. In recent years he has been specialising in large and complex steel framed buildings. Simon’s previous roles cover both public and private sector work across a range of different industries.

Richard joined Billington Structures in 1990 and has over 30 years of experience in the structural steel industry. He has responsibility for all financial project issues after the tender process. He manages and supervises the Quantity Surveying department, and oversees all contract documentation, warranties and bonds. His duties also include financial monitoring and reporting of all project related costs and sales.
MoreRichard Parker - Director of Production
With over 25 years in the structural steel market, Richard has extensive knowledge from working in a variety of different roles. This includes managing a steel fabrication facility in India. At Billington Structures he has overall responsibility for production at our facilities at Wombwell, Shafton and Yate. He manages all operational resources and budgets, as well as ensuring the highest levels of quality for all products and services.

He delivers advice throughout the organisation on a range of health and safety disciplines, ensuring there is a robust Continuous Improvement process in place.

Darren has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, with a background in Quantity Surveying within steelwork companies. He has played a key role in securing numerous multi-million pound projects. He is responsible for the management of all aspects of major projects, at the pre-construction stage, both within the UK and overseas markets to the point of acquisition.

Dan has been working in the construction industry since 2007. After a decade in operations, working on a variety of projects both across the UK and overseas, he has built up a broad knowledge base and significant hands on experience, which he now applies to his role as the Associate Director of Sales at Billington Structures. In this role, Dan oversees all pre construction activities, both in the UK and overseas.
MoreKaren Moore - Quality and Environmental Manager
Karen has over 20 years of experience in the steel industry and she joined Billington Structures in 2001. She is responsible for all quality and environmental issues for Billington Holdings, advising and assisting the management team. She also manages a team for all group audits, and conducts site visits to support site managers.
MoreMick Reed - Associate Director Design
Mick has 40 years’ experience in the industry and he started with Billington Structures in 1984 as a Detail Draughtsman. He is now responsible for all technical and design issues, including design aspects of CDM. He has overall supervision of all Design Engineers, and reviews the detailed design of structures, connections and temporary stability aspects of the build.
MoreJames Hindley - Associate Director of Projects
James has a mechanical engineering background and came to the construction industry with over 20 years of experience, before he joined Billington Structures in 2005. He is responsible for all project and programme planning, as well as control of a project on site. His other duties involve contract coordination, placement and control of sub-contractors.

Jon has been with Billington Structures for over 25 years and has accrued significant experience in operations and production. He is dedicated to ensuring that all production facilities are managed safely and efficiently on a day-to-day basis, and plays a key role in coordinating and managing the production process.

Steve has over 20 years of experience in the structural steel industry and is responsible for all financial project queries after the tender process. This covers the management and agreement of all contract documentation, and the monitoring and reporting of all project related costs and sales.
