A brand-new fleet motorway services on the M3 Fleet Southbound from London to replace the old services building that was destroyed in a fire. A fast turnaround was required to get the new services back up and running as soon as possible.
Engineering company, Design ID worked collaboratively with JWA Architects, Galliford Try and the client, the Welcome Break Group, to deliver a new motorway services station.
Billington Structures supplied the structural steelwork for this project. The new development was designed with a steel framed structure, partly supported by internal and external timber columns. The timber columns are an aesthetic and structural feature designed to showcase the new services.
The new development has completely transformed the M3 Fleet Southbound services, making it one of the most modern in the UK.
