Dove Valley Park

DERBY

Dove Valley Park, in south Derbyshire, is a major 200 acre industrial distribution development at the centre of one of the country’s most important manufacturing areas. With a number of companies already signed up and with space for more, the site is ideally located for distribution across the country with excellent links to motorways for national and regional distribution companies as well as manufacturing businesses.

Its location in the centre of the country puts it a short distance from a number of towns and cities, including Derby, Burton, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham, from which to recruit labour. Current occupiers on site include JCB, Kuhne and Nagel, Muller, Futaba and Top Hat with other major companies in the surrounding area including Toyota, Rolls Royce, JCB, Nestle, Marstons and Molson Coors.

Billington Structures supplied and erected hot rolled and cold rolled steel for 2 twin span barrel raftered portal frame buildings, complete with a mezzanine level for Roe Developments. We started construction of Unit 10B in mid-June 2023 and was completed in 5 weeks.

We then proceeded to erect Unit 3A which is due to be completed at the end of August 2023. The buildings’ approximate square area are 625m2 and 480m2 respectively.
