Morrisons Supermarket and Car Park

Main contractor Tolent Construction has requested the expertise of Billington Structures to provide a design and build steelwork package to a new Morrisons Supermarket in Morpeth.

The new store is part of ongoing regeneration in Morpeth to develop the town and its facilities.

Billington Structures have provided the design, fabrication and erection of a two-storey Morrisons Supermarket totalling in the region of 800 tonnes of structural steelwork. The scope of work also included ground floor and 1st floor mezzanines, plus Cellform rafters and spine beams. The project also includes a single-storey external car park with plain long span beams.
