Billington Structures has donated £100 to local football team Thurnscoe United u13’s who play in the Doncaster FA League.
The local football team is at the heart of the old mining community, but after the decision was made to split teams into u14’s & u13’s the u13’s were left without any sponsorship.
The team’s home ground is the Robert Ogden school field which is absent of toilets or proper changing facilities. Manager, Shaun Brannan, was delighted with Billington’s donation and has already put the money to good use with the purchase of new flags and a new respect barrier.
We wish the team well throughout the rest of the season and acknowledge all of the players for the thank you card we received.
