We are pleased to announce that Billington Holdings plc Group has achieved the prestigious Cyber Essentials accreditation.
Cyber Essentials is a government sponsored scheme that benefits from the support of numerous industry organisations, including the CBI and Federation of Small Businesses. Only 100,000 certificates have been awarded to businesses that have achieved this demanding standard.
It is designed to help organisations protect themselves against online cyber security threats. The Cyber Essentials accreditation demonstrates a commitment to cyber security for our clients and suppliers. This audited certification shows that we have implemented the Government’s requirements in the handling of sensitive and personal information.
This also applies to specific industry sectors where the accreditation is a minimum requirement due to the sensitivity of their data. Data, Energy, Health, Defence and Education are such sectors that Billington Structures and Peter Marshall Steel Stairs have successfully delivered.
Ian Cawthorne, Group IT Manager, Billington Holdings said, “This is a fantastic achievement. Billington Holdings is committed to continuously improving our protection against cyber-attacks and this accreditation recognises the measures implemented to protection our Group and its clients.”
