On Thursday 28th September, staff at Billington joined together to raise money for the national Macmillan Coffee Morning. We decided to host our fundraiser a day earlier when the majority of staff were in the office in order to raise as much cash as possible for such a worthy charity.
The cakes were a welcome addition to the morning coffee and the team happily dug deep and tucked in. Staff took part in the Cake Tower guessing game, and our band of bakers nervously waited to find out who would be crowned Star Baker in the blind taste test by the panel of judges (otherwise known as The Directors).
All of our Billington Holdings Group Companies took part and we are happy to say that in total we raised a fantastic £650 for the Macmillan nurses.
Here’s looking forward to doing it all again next year.
