Billington are currently working on a large regeneration project in the heart of Stockport. The Redrock development, a £45m investment by Stockport Council, will provide a hub of retail and leisure facilities including restaurants, shops and a ten-screen multiplex cinema.
Working with main contractors Wates Construction, Billington have supplied and erected over 1,500t of steelwork, including the steel frames of the cinema and car-park, as well as the installation of precast planks, metal-decking, precast terrace and precast lift cores.
The development is due to open in November 2017, and we can’t wait to see the finished facility.
