Billington have been working with the local community to educate the younger generations on the benefits of choosing a career in the world of steel.
Along with other local businesses and further education establishments, our HR team were asked to attend Netherwood School to give Year 8 students an opportunity to learn about the different avenues available to them once they leave school.
We spoke with them about the range of apprenticeship and graduate opportunities we offer and also the different types of roles within our business. We did meet a few budding engineers, along with some would-be vets, zoo keepers, actresses and professional Badminton players.
