Billington Structures played a key role throughout the expansion programme, delivering structural steelwork solutions across a number of phases. The initial phase involved the construction of a two-storey braced steel structure incorporating Metsec joists at ceiling level to form a new data centre facility. Subsequent works included the delivery of structural steelwork, metal decking and fire protection systems, supporting the continued growth of the campus.
As the development evolved, Billington was also appointed to provide a galvanised steel gantry structure complete with mesh flooring to the generator yard area, creating safe access routes and supporting critical operational infrastructure.
